been running dsp exclusively since it was available
I was able to get one log done, there is a 100% throttle run towards the end, about 2 minutes of normal hwy driving prior to the 100% throttle. Let me know if anything stands out. One thing,...
could tables B0761 thru B0770 (Main Pulse Quantity Compensation) have anything to do with the problems, B0761 is zero'd out, but the other nine tables appear to make adjustments in different areas of...
I had the best intentions of getting this logged, but ended up in the staging lane and couldnt find the pids :doh2: and ended up logging limited data, to add insult to injury, I almost hit the wall...
got the new test group loaded, i'll log a few at the track this weekend. Thanks for the help in this matter.

here is a log from a buddies truck "05 LLY", near stock tune, stock transmission, this shows a classic up & down mm3 fuel shot at 100% throttle. The only mods this truck has is a Volant intake, pcv...
here's a log from a while back, pulse width is hunting in the later part, mm3 jumps around a little too. I'll try and get a log of the throttle heistation this weekend.
Possibly TBIQ, maybe the transition between 3/4 fuel to full fuel, maybe bring it together tighter.
I'm looking for some tuning input, Say i'm in traffic going about 40mph and I stab the throttle, there is a hesitation of like about 1 sec., then my truck slingshots forward. The truck is shifting...
seriously, before making comments about something you haven't tested, you really should test it. You really have no clue whats happening with drive pressure when you close the vanes :wtf1:, I...
and how are you reading drive pressure
using the max and target together, you can control boost, given a reasonable desired boost table. All I was getting at was I would rather use a constant desired boost table from the base tune and...
you might want to go test this then, I have, its easy enough to do with a dsp tune
no, use the desired boost from the base tune, use the max and target vane table for fine tuning boost in the dsp tables.
I've already done that................
think about it for a minute, you still have a max table and a min. table for the vane to work within, target is just a suggestion, the vanes will still...
You need the target table in addition to the max table, they do work together, I feel that both tables would be of value on the dsp operating system, especially for aftermarket vvt turbos.
Ideally, I'd like to have max and target vane tables on each dsp switch.
I have the same operating system with zero issues
