the parking brake must be set. swaps that don't have it need to have the input set.
I have an 02 5.3l Z71 with the only mod being a GMPP CAI. I have my truck shifting right at 57-5800 and that's what the butt dyno likes. :)
PC OS or permissions related?
Gameover,
I have heard a few horror stories related to doing a cal-write on those PCMs if the OS's are different... but if it didn't 'brick' it, you should be in good shape.
You can use a different commercially/open source available editor and read the file from a bench PCM that you flashed with your proprietary format/different software tool... You can also go hardcore...
I will most likely get both, just hoping to see one or the other soon!
RPM does not seem to have been logged. Destabilizing swing can come from several things. If you get a large dip that pushes into over correction, you can get some 'ringing'. It's a shade unusual...
I have personally had good success with the following for cammed cars... I don't know all of the EFI Live lingo yet, so bear with me.
I don't usually have a problem with A/C if the car is not at...
I'm pretty sure I saw pics of that HPTuner's piece at least two years ago now...
what the heck is an M1 procharger?
I had a somewhat stubborn customer that wanted to "just see" about valve springs and lost his engine on the street about 2 weeks after putting everything on the car. Parts went through the turbo and...
The other problem (old thread, just for reference) is that the once the OS was applied, it cannot be 'removed'. The PCM can be reflashed (using HPT) with the last file that precedes application of...
Are these transient tables the same that are added in the CAX section sticky that were merged with the Lean Cruise Enable?
Also, I'm not sure, but the transient minimum that you mentioned, Is that...
When?
...or where?
Yah that's what I told him over on LS1.com too :)
Be careful though... if WOT VDC goes over something like 4.75V, you will set a TPS code (high voltage) and the car will fall right out of PE at WOT (not good!).
I guess this one can be closed... Moates put more up in stock (I had been waiting a while) so I am good to go here.
I haven't looked at that on the car. I haven't had enough time with it yet, I actually have some more tests and data to collect. This customer is one of my few 'sponsored' customers. His cost is...
Nice, I just picked up a RR and license.
I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. Are you asking about using two and the switching, or just how long a generally heat soaked IAT takes to straighten itself out?
Off topic [heat soak] I know...
I have a supercharged car right now with his IAT after twin meth nozzles but it's right behind his second hi-speed fan. It's so ridiculous there that I logged...
TSIA.
Thanks; just let me know. Please PM or use the contact form on my site linked in my sig.

In that case you don't even need to ground the input, just use the NC contacts to open the IAT circuit when active and it will default to min value. The reason I use a resistor rather than this...
Old thread I know but...
You can build a small device with a relay that goes in line with your IAT sensor. It's NC contacts pass the normal IAT signal through to the PCM but when on, it replaces...
