Default p0101 maf code and a drop out in vacuum

On a 01 Camaro SS I installed a turbo and got the tune pretty good. However, right around 2500 -3500 and 45mph the vehicle just cuts out the service vehicle light comes on momentarily (not check engine) it sets p0101 MAF sensor performance code and then returns to normal. This all happens in Vacuum. any words of wisdom.

The exact thing happened to me,
Co-indecently this happened around the time Ross released the first of the CO's.
No problems since I went SD.

    Cheers Scotty.

I initially tried the speed density set up but I could not even get it to idle and there was the thing with the missing parameters the tutorial mentioned and I could not find. So, I had decided to tune this one with MAF and get it back to the customer untill I could figure out the SD setup and be comfortable with it. So the question remains is there a bandaid for this condition so the customer can have his car back!
Thanks for all your brian power and experience.
