Cadillac Escalade ESV Scan ??

Hi, Im looking to communicate with this vehicle to diagnose some problems. I hope this is the correct section...

CEL is on, and some gadgets like remote start arent working. The vehicle has a large touch screen on the dash. Not sure of exact year at present, but it is a very fresh vehicle ( US Import into UK )

I do have EFILive 7.3Scan and tune, and have had for some time, but never actually got around to using it on the car it was bought for.

What would be needed to communicate and read any codes etc on this vehicle ?
Its a 6.2l V8, Vortec I assume

At a guess, it isnt any more than 2 years old. In fact, fairly sure about that

Get the latest software first, latest is 7.5.5 build 82. v7.3 hasnt been around for over a year, closer to 2 years now...you wont be able to connect to that truck without upgrading. Check the EFILive main website for the downloads, and you need a FlascScan V2 to communicate with it (does your hardware have an LCD screen or just LEDs with a single button?).

Its an 07+ btw, thats the latest gen of fullsize trucks/SUVs.
