    Default opinion on injector choice

Need to upgrade my 36lb injectors as I have maxed them out. I am looking at 60LB SIEMENS DEKA INJECTORS or BOSCH 42lb EV1 FUEL INJECTORS (green tops). Both around the same price , just chasing any comments from personal experience with either of these injectors.

There's some good info on tuning for 60lb injectors over on the HPT forum....including specific injector details. There's next to '0' info on the Bosch 'Greentop' Ford Motorsport injectors. You could try speaking with Jon from 'fuel injector connection' about specifics.

I have used the SVO Lime green tops on several applications and the are big flow, "good" and cheap. On the down side they idle fat and have a less than optimal spray pattern for LSs. I believe they cause a puddle on the head floor at low velocity.
If you can live with LS7 injectors (~40#) you will get a cleaner flow -
FAST re-lables some larger OEM styles as well.
    IMO.

In theory, the small injector will be easier to control for off-WOT conditions.

I would use the 60's all day! The nice thing with the 60 is it acts and responds like a 28 lb stocker. That narrow body and tight windings make this possible. I agree the 42's can be a bit lazy.........but its because of lack of data.........or at least good data............which is out there...

Just remember these 60's are really 63.5 at 3 BAR and 73.4 at 4 BAR. They also need the correct short pluse adder, minimum injector pulse and offset table to work properly.

The EV-1 old style and the EV-6 (shorty) new style use the same values!

Howard...do you mind sharing the 'good' data on the 42's?
I've searched for probably 10's - 100's of hours and can't find any hard data on the Bosch/Ford Motor sport 42# 'greentop' injectors.

OK, I'm leaning towards using the 60lb Deka injectors, but have also come across some BOSCH 968 42lb EV6 FUEL INJECTORS,which I hope will have more available info than the green tops.
