    Default RAFIG on 2002 Z06

Today I found out that the long term and short term IAC trims are not valid on a vette. After some frusturation, I realized its because they don't have an IAC, they have ETC. Looks like since the throttle is electronically controled, the traditional IAC functionality is just built into the throttle opening itself.

So, is there some sort of other way of logging idle trims (for the ETC?) to set desired airflow table? I searched and didn't find any information on here or LS1tech.

    Any help is appreciated.

Right now I'm doing some interesting tuning. First my friend dyno'd the Z06 bone stock. Now I'm working on a tune with a vararam only. He'll dyno that to see what it gains. Then he's got some LG exhaust parts he's going to install. So I'll retune with that and dyno again. I think it will be pretty cool see what gains he gets with each one, and more importantly, what tuning changes had to be made to get the tune right for each change.

I'd do it the same way. All of the IAC info must be working the throttle blade to add idle air in steps. I see that the IAC area is larger on the Z06 than the F-body to account for using the throttle opening to control it instead of the IAC motor and separate opening.

I think you missed the point, the long term idle trim, and short term idle trims are not supported PIDs for the 02 Vette.

    Anyone?

I have a 02 Vette and those pid's are available to me. I would try to pull up the pid selection page again, right click the pid that is unsupported to find out why. Sometimes you need other pid's active to make others work.

    Hope this helps

    Joe,

I did the edit, validate PIDs. It still came up unsupported. Then I disconnected the EFI live, and tried again. Still unsupported. I also right clicked the PID and it did not give any explanation why they were unsupported. I'm stumped.

As you can see I have a 2003 Vette. As long as I select all of them they work fine for me. So it's not a C5 problem.
