    Default plx sm-afr serial

    Im new to this, can someone tell me what parts and where to get them to convert my plx to serial? Thanks

    Really?? That is the easiest way??? Why does the SM-AFR have a "serial" port on it then???

    That write up shows how to add a DB9 serial plug so it can be
    plugged into the DB9 to RJ12 cable Flashscan comes with.

    You could probably use a stereo jack to RJ12 from the TXD port on the PLX
    to the V2.

    My sig has the V2 pin out.

    No, you need to use a RS232 to TTL Converter.
    The data stream voltage needs converted....
