    Have you tried validating PID's?
Open the scan tool and go to the pic in the toolbar of the page with the green 'tick' on it.
    Click that icon.

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T
MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE
    DUCT TAPE.
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

It's gone or is it X'ed out?
Sometimes valid PIDs will have an X through them until you start logging.

Validated PIDS also checked old log files the PID is validate as well it is also X out check out this log file. It is a log file from before full reflash. I have seen some threads on changing to a 2002 operating system. I don't think this has any thing to do with losing the pids? I am going in to the shop today and will try a full new reflash with the tech 2. and see if the Vin and the pid shows back up let me know any other ideas.

That log shows the PID is valid and data for MAFFREQ.
