    Prickster,

I have a picture of me standing upright with a LS7 block under each (2) arm. These endangered species will be THE item in our Gearhead lifetimes.

For me, one in daily use and one in backup, is part of my IRA. My kids can't figure out the facination in their Acura lives.

    Default Me too

I agree and can I sign up for your IRA plan Bruce? I need some economic stimulus though. My kids like the tuner foreign jobbers too. I dont get it and I dont want to. But I still might build that Ecotech. But many of us over looked the turboed V6 GMPX (Is that a Buick?). I am glad that Bruce is a LS forever Guy as he really helped me with my tune when I did my L92/ 427 ci as did Joe. I think all Vettes and Cameros should have mandatory 427s.

Would have been nice if the 2001/2002 F-bods came with 427's and factory stainless headers/hiflow-cats...

Default ANother beer summit? There was a limited Edition Camaro w/427

    Hey Joe,
Last year there was a cover story about that Special Edition in the Camaro magazines( Camaro performers- August 2007).There was a limited edition Dick Harrell Edition with a C5R 427 with around 630 HP and 605 trq. The price was a real knock your socks off $148,000.00 approx (a sticker of $135.000.00). It was a wide body also. A nice looking car but I would buy an C5 and do the 427 transplant and save up to $115- 120,000.00. I have around $28,000 total into mine. Plus it is a convertible with a trunk the same size motor, Hp n Trq, better injectors and intake manifold, better heads, cold air intake, custom MAf, new tranny, Trq converter, rear, shocks, carbon fiber hood and lewis five rear fenders, tigershark kit w front spoiler, C6 ZO6 wheels, slotted rotors and more all for the above $28,000.00 That doesnt include my labor but it does make allowances for the old parts I sold and that is the net. But that was a cool Camaro and I liked everything but the price and Bruce does not have me in his will.
At least that is what I tell my wife!
    Cheers

Default Let have a beer summit and talk about it!

    Hey Mr Prick,
Did Bruce call you Prickster? You must be ahh neighbors. Dont answer that.
I do have a Holland and Holland 12 gauge shotgun that was Henry the 8ths.
It is appraised for $250,000.00, NOT. But I do have several decent shotguns and a great bird dog and a winchester model 70 338 magnum with lots of safari loads.

PS: We should have a beer summit since I lied about the Holland and Holland in public

Default 4 and 6 cylinder Front Wheel Drive cars. Whats worse?

A 2006 Monte Carlo SS with a V8 and front wheel drive, thats what is worse! The Camaro is rear wheel drive and that is a good thing and a V6 is not for me but! I bought my wife a 2006 Monte Carlo SS and it has a 327 V8 in it which I liked and she loves NASCOR so I bought her, her NASCAR. The thing I never even looked at was,,, it was a front wheel drive with a V8 (It never occurred to me to even check). I thought all V8s were rear wheel drive especially in a supposedly NASCAR based car. From experience let me tell you that a pretty good V6 like the one in the Camaro that has rear wheel drive is a far better setup than a V8 with front wheel drive as with the Monte Carlo. My wife does not care but I do. Front wheel drive especially with a V8 sucks. A rear wheel drive car at least can be worked with and should have tuning support as there will be a few hundred thousand of those V6 Camaros to work with.
