I give up. I have register the v2 and entered the registration in the help section still in demo mode with the v2 not connected to laptop. Guess I am just a dumb A$$ with a $900 paper weight. Thanks for the help

Open the V7 Tune Tool. Select Help -> Register EFILive....
With the Blue registration card contained in your FlashScan V2 box, enter all information EXACTLY as displayed into the license manager window.
The most common problems users experience when copying information is not including the leading 00's on the Serial number, or not using uppercase for the registration key. Make sure the date also matches your license registration card.

Registration cards and the date field in the Register EFILive screen were changed a few years ago to prevent this problem. The date format on both is now a combination of alpha and numerical values (ie. 16-Jul-2014 rather than 16-07-14 or 07-16-14)Originally Posted by joecar
