I am currently working on an off road buggy with a powerglide trans and am having trouble with it hitting a rev limiter at 4250. has anyone run an e38 stand alone?

I am pulling my hair out on this one, I have tried most things that i can think of

Have had an issue with rev limiter in a stand alone and was told by GMPX that is an issue with reto-fits. I can set mine by the B5201 rev limit by gear, this is a manualised auto and when you upshift on the limiter it wont disengage dispite the lower revs untill you come breifly off the throttle. B5209 dosen't work, it bypasses that limit.
