    Default Question about going MAFless

I am running a boosted application. If I run MAFless will it effect my tune under boost (PE mode)? I guess the real question would be is the MAF taken into account when in PE mode?

MAFless is MAFless. It's kind of like being pregnant-- either you are or you aren't. Even if you leave the MAF in place, if you follow the instructions for switching to MAFless operation, you're telling the PCM that the MAF has failed (which is the reason a trouble code is set) and to switch to speed density mode, which is normally a fall-back condition in the event of an actual MAF failure. If you switch to MAFless operation, and use a custom operating system, you can either retain power enrichment (not the best approach for a boosted application) or disable it and absolutely control air fuel ratio based on rpm and manifold pressure.
