rev limiter set at 7k but still bounces at 6500
my rev limiter and abuse managment is all set to 7k and this car is still bouncing at 6500 rpms.. Im about to pull my hair out the car is a 2001 SS M6 last yea i had cam only and uploaded a tune off holdencrazy and changed the limiter to 7k and hit 7k everywhere but now i have a new setup still n/a but uploaded a stock tune and started from scratch. is there anything im missing thanks.

What is your duty cycle for your Inj %?
If it is over 85 percent they could be overheating, your injectors that is.
Does your tranny have any shift limits?
ALso check the temp protection for the pistons and cats as well as what everyone has mentioned above
