    Default EFI Connection "24x" System and LS1 PCM for LT1/LT4 Engines

    Good-Bye Optispark!
    The LS1 PCM now replaces the troublesome Optispark distributor. Coil per cylinder ignition for LT1 and LT4 engines.



    Putting the system together to use the LS1 PCM...

    24x LT1/LT4 System
    This exploded view illustrates how our 24x system is installed around the stock 96-97 LT1 timing cover. The 24x crank reluctor installs behind the timing cover, the 1x cam reluctor installs to the cam sprocket and the cam sensor housing installs in the same location where the Optispark distributor used to reside. The cam sensor is also used in just about every Gen 4 LS engine.


    Wiring Harness
    EFI Connection builds brand new stand alone harnesses and brand new plug and play 24x LT1 harnesses for the 93-97 Camaro/Firebird. If making your own engine harness, be aware that you must swap injectors/coils 2&3 and 7&4 at the PCM to correct the firing order.


    Calibration Changes
    - Load any 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, LS1, LS6, LS2, etc calibration into the PCM
    - Set {B4001} Injector Flow Rate (a constant for vacuum operated regulators)
    - Change {B3704} Injection Bank Assignments to match the 2001-2002 Express Van calibration (for closed loop operation)
    - Load your preferred spark/fuel calibration (if any)
    - Turn the key and begin fuel/spark correction

    Transmission Selection
    Better control of the 4L60E and first ever control of the 4L80E transmissions for LT1 applications. No expensive aftermarket controller.

    Electronic Throttle Support
    Electronic throttle support is also available using one of our TPI/LT1 electronic throttle bodies. Available in 52mm, 58mm, and mono blade.
