Default Lost the ability to highlight sections in charts??

Hey fellas, I was just going through a bbl file and I usually am able to drag accross and highlight a section of the chart which gives me the highs, lows and average of the selected area. It dosnt seem to be working. Not sure if I have turned it off by mistake or not but would like to know how to get it back on. Any help would be appreciated.
    Cheers Ian

How did I know about it? Because I've been there as well, took me a while to work out what I'd done.

    What a useful thread!

What causes the highlighting to stop in the first place?
Nothing in the settings was changed and I could not figure out why
    this happened.

You may have accidentally pressed F2 (freeze/unfreeze cursor).
