    Default LS376/480 and 6L90

    Thoughts.

    I have a crate LS376/480 (LS3) with the E67 controller. I have a 6L90 out of a 2008 GM truck.

The new Cadillac CTS-V comes with the LSA (basically a modified LS9) and E67 controller and 6L90.

Shouldn't I be able to flash my E67 (and T43) with the CTS-V program and get my combo to work? And then do some performance tuning. This is a resto mod 55 Chevy I'm working on.

If the E67 is a 2009 unit most likely. 2009 software is not generally compatible with earlier ECM's and vice versa. Maybe GM would know .

Great retro. Haven't heard of this powertrain combination to date Maybe someone on here has been down this road?

If the CTS-V and the LS3 use the same wiring pinouts, then yes, you can do it.

However, something you should note, is not all LS engines use the same pinouts, even on the same controller! Read the thread titled 08 TBSS ECM swap and no start condition. The reason he can't get the TBSS to fire with the SuperCharged ECM file, is because the pinouts are totally different on the Cadillac, but the same E67.

So, you need to know what wiring harness you have. The easiest way to figure it out is trace #1 injector back to the ECM, and look up a schematic and find one that matches. Match a few more and it is golden.

Any more questions? PM or just ask. =)
