Default Will pulling codes use a license?

A neighbor has a CEL on his '98 Burb. I told him I could pull the codes, then suddenly thought of the possibility of losing my 2nd license to his burb. Will this happen or can I pull codes from as many vehicles as I want to?

Pulling is fine, flashing uses licences

Everything but flashing changes into a controller is done for free, pulling tunes, scanning and logging, and DTCs. Its a wonderful thing!!

So does this mean I can hook up to a friends truck and download his stock tune to look at it?? I guess I would do it just the same as when I did mine in order to send it off to be altered?

Pretty much, just hook your V2 up to his truck, open the tune program, read the tune (or tunes depending on what truck) and save them. No cost whatsoever.
