    Default 4.8 differences over the years...

    So the 4.8 was 255hp when it first came out in 99...in 2007, the last of the GMT-800 4.8's were 285hp IIRC.

    What did they change besides the tune? AFAIK the cam and heads today are still the same as they were in 99??

    Can I run a newer tune with an older engine and get more hp? Sorry I only know about getting power via tuning out of diesels...
