    Default Flash Scan box to usb cable connection problems

    My Flash Scan V1 a couple years old and its developed a bad connection between the box and the small usb connection. I have to wiggle the connection to get it to stay connected. This started a couple days ago and sometimes I can't get it to connect at all. The slightest movement will disconnect it. Anyone else have this problem. I know its not dirty at the connection between the box and usb becuase before this happend it never had been unplugged.

    Is it possible to open up the box so I could see where the connection is bad or will I mess something up?

    if it's a V1, they just pop open though I guess it's not recommended. If you can't fix it, I can and it won't cost very much unless it's really messed up.

    Ok thanks for the help, its not in bad condition at all I don't know why the connection went bad.

    Maybe your USB cable is worn out,
    my original one developed a short at the base of the 1.0 end.

    I guess I could try getting another cable. I probably have one for a digital camera around somewhere. Is the 1.0 the small end?

    V2 has USB 1.0
    I think V1 has mini USB.
