    Default Bidirectional Controls and V7

I upgraded from EFILiveV6 Pro to Personal FlashScan. Then from Personal FlashScan to Commercial FlashScan. My BiDi controls aren't available in Commercial FlashScan. How do I activate them?? Is there an upgrade I missed along the way??

God knows I love the new stuff!!

    Thanks Guys!!

    Cheers,

How are you trying to use them Joel? I have found that you need to connect to the vehicle, open the bi directional controls, and then either select Monitor/Record.

If you start logging at 10fps then the bidi controls cannot be opened.
If you start logging in dynamic mode then the bidi controls can be opened.

If you open the bidi controls window prior to starting to log, then when you do start logging, EFILive will automatically drop to dynamic scan mode - even if you have 10fps selected in the properties window. If you close the bidi controls window, then the next time you start logging 10fps will be automatically restored.

Thanks Guys!!! You were right - I reduced the scan mode to Dynamic and all is well.

I had my Base Spark tables (B5933 and B5932) set at 24* @ 1200 RPM and 31* @ 1600 RPM. Idle is set @ 1200 RPM at operating temps. Using Bidi I tried 32 * at 1200 ( slight surging) and then backed it down to 30*.
It sure is nice to be able to test without a reflash!!

    Cheers,
    joel
