Default What kinda MPG's are you getting?

    Hey guys,

Just curious to see how my economy tunes are stacking up against others. What kinda MPG are you seeing from your LBZ/LMM? Give city and highway and tell what kinda speeds you run on the highway to get that. I wanna know pencil and paper figures not the ones from the DIC because we know how that can be! haha. Thanks.

I'm not sure what my average highway MPG is right now but commuting to work everyday I drive a combination of city and 55mph hwy....I'm averaging 19.5 mpg on my 2006 LBZ with 285/75R16 tires and a 5" Magnaflow, stock intake. City is about 17.5-18 mpg I think.

LMM with MPI twins, get 15.5-16 mpg around town, and 20-22 on the freeway at 65-75 mph, drops as speeds increase. GPS verified speedo.

Not bad, do you find that city MPG lacks any over stock because of the slight lag of spooling twins maybe?

It's the same as my stock turbo numbers for city and highway, yet with way more power. I lost nothing mileage-wise with the twins, but gained a ton of part and full-throttle power, as well as egt's that don't break 1200 degrees.............

Holy crap, Im getting 12-13mpg around town in my I6 TrailBlazer and am happy when I get 20-21 on the hwy at 75mph. (At 65mph I can get closer to 23-24 though.)

So big truck + BIG Dmax = good mileage? Now I just need a load worthy of a Dmax...maybe in 5 years or so when I can afford it as my new TB SS better last at least 8-10yrs.

With a big tune but pulling out the boots at hwy speeds (60-69mph) I have seen 28mpg hand calc but most of the time it is about 23-25mpg. City I get about 17-19 but that is all to do with how nice I am to it.
