Auto VE ?

I posted my tune earlier and was told my VE was off along with my timing was a lil low at 28 deg. where do i go to change or see my VE and how do i run what u guys say is auto VE? and whats a good starting point for timing so i dont get the pings.

VE table is B0101... in the tunetool Search box search for B0101 (in uppercase).
