I believe that my sensor was damaged while installing the blowers. It's a tight squeeze with the LS2 valley cover and the lower intake had to be machined to fit around the sensor. With the RoadRunner I had a light and code which I disabled in the tune. I swapped the factory PCM back in and now the DIC and bell are going nuts with the low oil pressure warning. I believe this can also be disabled in the tune, but I am wondering if anyone knows if the bad sensor triggers any sort of engine protection mode. Can't find anything in the shop manual with respect to that possibility.
