    Default scan tool user manual mix up

    whats up with the scan tool user manual it talks about console being (F12) but when using the scan tool (F6) is console and (F12) is DVT , found this out because i was trying to find out what exactly was DVT , i presume the manual is not up to date , anybody Eric

    I believe the user manual has not yet caught up with the software...

    DVT is the bidirectional control... it allows you to control solenoids and to manipulate AFR and spark while in bidi mode...

    You have to select your PCM type to enable the DVT controls that pertain to your PCM.

    Correct, the Scan Tool Manual is out of date.
    The software changes rapidly and it is difficult to keep the manual up to date.

    I can't seem to find any info anywhere on using DVT on an E40?
