Custom OS/AutoVe???'s

I just did a swap of a 2002 6.0ltr into a 2001 Silverado Truck (original was 4.3 V6) and my question is: Should I load the Custom OS into the PCM first or should I do the AutoVe first? Or does it matter? I've never tried a custom Os before(E38 & Vortec were my first ECU guinea pigs) this I'll be my first time playing around with a Custom OS...

It doesn't matter which you do first...

The thing is, after you full flash the COS, you have to cal-only flash from the old file... i.e. the COS will be running with your old tables...

so, in other words, it doesn't matter if you do AutoVE before or after installing the COS...

but, the COS has a better open loop AFR table (MAP x RPM instead of ECT x RPM) so it might give you better control..
