Support for this 2006 GTO? 12603159

This is the first time I have ever ran into a 2006 GTO that I couldn't tune.
Seems as though the OS is not reconized.

Please help EFI boys (I mean men) This car is already late for a deadline.

Here is the file I pulled out of the car, even though I can't read it. I can tell you its WAY WAY rich, and low on timing.

Any chance in the meantime you could full flash another OS into it? Keep the original tunes safe so when EFILive supports it you could go back but honestly you probably wouldnt need to.

Maybe it is tuner locked or corrupted. You can get a working 12603159 OS from here:

Both auto and manual. Though the VIN in that OS you have says it is an 05 model, and then it should be 12613269 M6 (supercedes 12598977)/12598977 A4. EFILive also supports both.

Sorry, the OS is 01250154, that is a HPTuners custom OS. You will need to get a stock file for that car if you want to tune it with EFILive, EFILive cannot add support for that OS.

That custom OS is based on 12596734, if you can find a file from another GTO with that OS then all you need do is full flash it in and you should be set to start again.

Thanks guys, I figured it was a HPT thing.

I just didn't have the base OS to start from. I will check into that now, and do a full flash and start from fresh!

Glad this was figured out, I didnt even look at the .tun file yesterday as I dont know what the HPT COSs are.

Use the EFILive E40 COS if you want!
