    Default C3003 missing?

    Hi guys!
We´re working on a sd tune for my -97 y-body and are having some issues. I was told to check the values in the C3003, Predicted MAP Max but the message I get from my Efi live tune tool is that it´s missing... I think it should be found in the Engine diagnostics->MAP, but all I see is the "parameters". From what I understand I should see both Predicted MAP Max, (C3003) and Predicted Map Min(C3004).
If I look into the "parameters" I see C6301 and 6302, that´s all... shouldn´t it show C5501 and 5502 also?

    Sent response via email.

For the benefit of others... These tables do not appear until the 2001 year operating systems for the LS1 PCM.

Thx a lot. I really appreciate your early morning routines

Ok, so I need to get me a pcm from -99 and up?

How about flashing the pcm w. my -97 VIN? Is that something that must be performed by a GM dealer?

Has anyone here tried this, plz chime in and give me ur thoughts.

It's not quite that simple I'm afraid. It requires re-pining the harness for the 99+ pin assignment.

The following is a link to a site which gives some details: http://www.efialchemy.com/db/02to97pcm/02to97PCM.html. This is done by a user on this forum with the handle "Doc". Might be worth shooting him a PM.

The VIN is not issue, you would just enter your VIN into the new calibration.
