Default I did the 411 swap now tuning?

I helped a buddy do a 411 swap on a 97 chevy that has a bigger (?) cam in it and it doesn't hardly run with the stock 5.7 astro van tune in it. so now I need help tuning this pig. Any help would be appreciated. I have logs (kinda) I would send to someone.

I am going to find out the specifics tomarrow on the cam etc etc. I am a diesel guy and know nothing about gassers. I have never see MAF so low in my life.

I just did this to mine, it runs really good but may not for you. I'm running CLSD, no MAF. Also it's a 4x4 and a bigger cam too. You'll have to change the speedometer for his tires so it shifts right. I also ran a supercharger but not now so the fuel pressure it greater then stock so you might have to fool around with the injector size settings to get it to run right.

Make darn sure you do a CASE relearn or it wont run or shift right.

I think I set the tune to need a CASE Relearn, and then went into the scan tool DVT and found the Case relearn button, but I am not sure how you know when it's done.

    On Edit: Thanks.

Once it's warmed up press the case relearn button and give it gas until it reaches 4000RPM then the fuel will be cut off then let up and it will idle. Maybe not the best description but since I've only done it twice I don't remember the details.

Also, I would unplug his MAF, upload the tun, case relearn, then start it and see if it's real rich or lean then adjust the IFR B4001 until it it's about right then go from there.

Injector flow rate, see B4001. You would increase or decrease the figures based on how rich or lean the car runs, there are better ways to do it but this might get you running quicker.
