Just relax, Andrew Elder at Dynolog has all this and more running around in he's head. Watch this space is the best answer I can give at the moment.

We played around with this a bit last Wednesday, was great seeing many of my selected PIDs on the dyno screen. Didn't have the V2 firmware updated so we weren't able to log the dyno data with EFILive, but I can't wait to get in there in the days leading up to SEMA.

BIG fan of the mainline here.

    We'll I'm hard over this!!!!

We just recently installed a Dynomite Dynomometer which has the ablity to bring in other inputs like this. I really wanted to record HP/TQ on the EFI log which I think I can get a 0-5 v output say scaled from 0-1000 HP and use one of the 0-5 inputs and make a pid.

What protocol is this happening in????

Howard, this is using RS-232 serial protocol.

Howard, the whole point of this is to get rid of the 0-5V system, gathering data via the serial port has many advantages.
It looks like your dyno company would be able to do this, from their webpage "RS-232 and USB ports for output to a PC with DYNO-MAX software option"
If you have a good technical contact there please let us know

    Cheers,
    Ross

Thought I would pop into work yesterday and do a little testing with the V2 and the Mainline. I have been doing alot of testing previously to get the V2 to log into the Mainline and we got that going quite well but havent touched it in a while.

Works very well. Just need to setup a few configuration things on the mainline to select which devices to send etc but it is going to be a very very good thing!
