    Default Pe

I activated PE after having it turned off for a long time {B3613} set to 285 kPa.

I have {B3608} set to 0 sec and {B3613} set to 130 kPa. {B3616} is set to 50% TPS in all cells. PE does not seem to be activating and I still seem to be commanding fuel from {B3647}.

The only thing I found was that {B3647} was not equal to {B3649}. I have changed it in the tune but have not loaded it or tested it yet. Is there something I am missing to get PE to activate.

    Thanks

I have attached my current tune and a log I did yesterday. The commanded fuel in the log equals the fuel commanded in {B3647} and not PE in {B3618}.

Am I left to assume that PE Mode cannot be activated in COS3 OS 03190003?

I was told the COS3 (maybe any OS) would go to whichever table was richer. In this case it is the B{3647} . I am going to try making PE Mode richer and see if PE activates.

I can see that PE is activating in your Data Log. It goes into PE staring in Frames #121 thru #304.....

I don't think that is PE that you are seeing in the log. It is commanded fuel from {B3647} as far as I can tell. The actual AFR is a result of Commanded Fuel from {B3647} plus Boost VE {A0009} and Meth injection.

The reason I say that is, the commanded fuel is 11.57 AFR:1 in frames 161 to 304, once the fuel enrichment settles down and that is the commanded fuel in {B3647}. The commanded fuel in PE is 12.5 from 4000rpm and up.

Does that make sense to you? Thanks for looking.

Maybe it's because {A008} is set to 1.00 at the ECT you are at.
When using {B3647} "Commanded Fuel vs RPM (Normal)" to define the commanded fuel, this table is used as multiplier based on engine coolant temperature.
A number of 1.00 will add no more fuel based on the engine coolant temp, any number higher than that will add fuel.

The way I see that is commanded fuel will come straight out of {B3647} with no multiplication when {A0008} is set to 1. {A0008} is used to provide enrichment while the engine is warming up. I don't believe it is used to determine which mode is used to command fuel {B3647} vs PE in {B3618}.

    Make sense? Thanks for checking.

Your B3647 is richer than your B3618, and the algorithm chooses the richest table of the enabled tables.

B3647 operating cell (EQ 1.266) is richer than B3618 operating cell (EQ 1.1699).

    B3601 is 14.63 all across;

    14.63/1.266=11.56

    Log chart shows AFR 11.57.
