Can anyone offer me help regarding the following matter. I have a gm ls-3 - 480 hp crate engine with an e-38 controller. The base calibration is from howell engine development and it is a 2007 y-car with a manual transmission. This particular car has a 4l80e transmission with one of my stand alone controllers. The problem that i am having is with idle stability. A am using a tube style mass air sensor placed in the appropriate location. The engine alternates from open to closed loop about every 90 seconds. I have tried every thing i can think off from decel fuel to ve changes and every thing in between. I am beginning to believe it may be the base calibration. I am new to efi-live but not new to gm calibration work, however all my past work has been with non cans systems. If anyone has a base calibration for this combination or anyone can advise me as to what i am missing please let me know. I look forward to your input.
