Default EFI Connection Cruise Control Signal Interface

In addition to the tap signal interface, we're also working on a cruise signal interface. Newer ECMs and BCMs require a varying voltage (through one wire) to indicate the driver's cruise signal commands. Early (and aftermarket) cruise control switches pulse 12V to indicate On/Off, Set/Coast, Accel/Resume. This interface will be much like the tap signal interface with custom CNC enclosure using a Delphi header/connector solution.

    5/3/2011 EDIT...here is the completed module. EFI# 110-00024.

with this box can it be wired into a conversion that is running a e38 and t43 and then you can run a 2 wire switch (the type that varies the voltage depending on fucntion required) ? as well as the more traditional aftermarket switch which just momentary puts 12v down seperate wires for different functions?

    E38's got to love them
    E40's hate 'em

LS1's is there anything it wont work on

Inputs are 12v On/Off, 12v Set/Coast, 12v Accel/Resume. Output is varying voltage to ECM/BCM. This is the opposite of what you are requesting.

You could use Rostra type cruise switches with this module.

    here is my question.

I have put a new outlander steering wheel in my 2000 eclipse.
the steering wheel is multifuctional with audio and cruise controls.

for the audio I have an interface.

but the cruise control still doesn't work.
I have 2 wires in my sterring wheel for the signal controls.

if I put this interface in my car can I use my aftermarket cruise control with the steering wheel switches?
and how to wire it up to the 2 wires in my steering wheel?

Probably not, but I'm unfamilar with the wiring (and resistance values) of the cruise control system you are working with.
