Thread: Flashing different OS?

    I had an extra 99-02 pcm.I put that in,Flashed it,The truck starts right up,But I still have that U1000 code and now the battery light came on in the message center and my fuel gauge does not work. I think I'm going to flash the original OS and leave it alone like I should have done in the 1st place

    OK put in 0411 pcm in flashed 12212156 OS WITHOUT the COS#5 and everything works fineI took out the 5.3 motor & put in my 5.7 short block that I had left over from the Corvette,That's why I changed PCM's and OS to get away from the backup VE table and other stuff............Paul
