    Default goes into natural ?

    When I stop at a set of light for a period of time the trans seems to go in to natural and will not select any gears until I switch the engine off than restart it and than it will select gears ok. Or sometimes when I drive it and go to park it will not select reverse so i switch it off and restart it and it select ok. Des

    what type of car? might be neutral safety switch. Try to see if you can start the car in D, if you can you need a new neutral safety switch. DTC should also show P0700, P0708, P0847, P0872, P0875, P1711 and P1713.

    Only notice "Australia" in his profile, didn't look up to see it was in the Allison section

    it's in a f350 I bought an adapter and stand alone computer from destroked.

    There stand-alone set-up uses a standard 03-04 DURAMAX calibration in the TCM, so you need to have it scanned with a TECH II or EFILIVE and see what codes it is setting in the TCM.
