After watching the video, it seems like you have a lock unlock problem and not chatter. If that's so, try replacing the "3" 256 values with appropriate values. The 12.5 % TP 256 may be a problem.
You know you can copy and paste from EFI to the worksheet.

OK so I am looking into that, but what about changing the 4<3 downshift? I have 3rd not locked till 25% TPS, what do you think about that? I am really wanting 4th locked for at least some milage, but when I give it some TPS for light acceleration such as going up a hill or holding speed on a hill. Just throwing it out there for some discussion. I am about over the trans program!

    What I suggest is:
-Eliminate 3rd gear lockup. With a loose converter it will give you fits trying to work on your problem. In my opinion and the experience of many, 3rd lockup with a loose converter does not work well. When the 3rd to 4th shift occurs it drops out of lockup and the RPMs jump up. It feels like you've gone to a lower gear. You can go back to it, but for now work on one thing at a time.
-Copy and paste the values from the worksheet to your tune. We know they work with the same gears and converter as yours.
-If it all works out you can customize the trans to to your liking.

I also have my firebird with a 3500 stall and a 4L80E that works like a dream. I even have lockup in 2nd, 3rd and of course 4th. With it so loose I lock it in 2nd just so it doesn't sound like I'm trying to race the guy next me at every light. If you want to look at it I will upload it.

Thanks Lee would love to see it too. I think the problem is my converter is pretty damn tight, I didnt get too much time to mess with it yesterdad and it supposed to rain here today and tomorrow so I will try to mess with it some more this weekend at some point.

I'm pretty sure this is the tune where I lock it in 2nd, I've upgraded to windows 7 and I havent installed EFILive yet so I cant check.

What I found that stopped my Vigilante from shuttering was TCC pressures, now when it locks it feels like a shift. Plus getting the up/down shifts to sync with the converter lock/unlock was the trick for making it enjoyable to drive.

I was just looking at your tune and the TCC Solenoid values in my opinion is whats causing or at least attributing to your shudder. If nothing else copy my values for D2905, D2904 and D2903 and see what that does.

I also recommend eliminating 3rd gear lock up for now to see if that eliminates the problem. I would lower the 4th gear lockup mph values. Your 4th Gear lockup mph values are crazy high between 18.75%-37.50%. I run a Circle D 5C and it locks much lower than that without problems.
