Default Help Truck Wont Start - Flash messed up somehow?

I changed a shift point the other night and then hit the flash cal button just like normal and it erased memory, started to write and then froze about 4 seconds in. After I waited for several minutes to be sure it had indeed froze, I went ahead and hit the stop button. Now the truck will not start and when I try to read or flash and gives the message:

pcm did not accept the bootloader, reason: efilive could not unlock pcm. Then it wants me to enter the unlock code.

What does this mean? Did I cook the pcm? Any way to fix it? I have never locked the pcm.

    Best regards,

    Ben

    Ben,

If this was a cal only flash then you should always be able to recover.
'Worst case', this should not be needed, but pull the fuse for the PCM power for a minute or so then retry.
If the PCM is missing the calibrations then when you try to flash the program it should just give a message that the PCM is missing the calibrations and will be recovered.
If this does not work look in the folder -
    \My Documents\EFILive\V7\Bug reports
for the last 'download' blx file that was created and Email it through to us.

Okay, that fixed it. Forgot about those fuses. Thanks Ross.

    Ben,

The fuses should not need to be pulled to retry a failed flash, they should never be pulled on a full flash fail.
But sometimes these things happen and I can't explain them

    Cheers,
    Ross
