ok i have had efi for a year now and have not used it i just finished my truck and rob has built me a tune and need to load it i can not get his tune into the tune tool it keeps saying unrecagnized pcm? i have no idea what this means also i cant seem to get the vin lic. to enter either it keeps asking for auth. code what is that and how do i get it thanks a bunch

Hi rmallen30, welcome to the forum...

I take it you have FlashScan V2...

You will need to download/install V7.5.6.104 and V8.1.2.84 from here:

If you have V2 then you need both V7.5.6.104 and V8.1.2.84.

This means you will have to update V2's firmware and bootblock...

After you intstall V8.1.2.84, run EFILive Explorer, goto the firmware tab to see bootblock/firmware versions, report those back here.

hello i was not running newest update i think i have it fig. out
