So what do I do now??

I tuned a truck for somebody and they asked me to return it to stock. I returned mine to near stock before winter. Now I can't find the usb cable!! And I have 3 licenses on that, all used, but if I understand it correctly the licenses are on the cable and I can not use a regular cable to tune with.

The device itself is referred to as the "Cable" not USB cord.
Any USB cord will work.

The licenses are stored in the V2... you still have this right...?

Oh sweet, for some reason I thought the cable was coded somehow. I've told other people, including the guy who needs his tune changed, that somehow the license is stored on the cable.

That's what I always thought.

I've heard a number of people say that the licenses are stored to the cable? Why is that?

"Cable" is an older term for the interface module.
