    Had no idea Vettes got DBW in '97...

    Thought thats what different segments were for, to signify a change in params (trans, 4WD/2WD, etc).

    GM uses the segments to keep from having to have thousands and thousands of calibrations when sections are the same, as you will notice in the numbers listed the fuel system for both automatic and manual 2002 f-cars are the same. But if you had say a 2.73 automatic car vs a 3.23 car, the speedometer and transmission and possibly transmission diagnostic sections would be different from each other.
