2002 LB7 PCM question.
I just bought a rs title 2002 Duramax. The previous owner says the origional PCM was stolen while at the shop, shop replaced it with a different model year pcm which didn't work and then went out of business. Can I re-flash it with correct program off a tune library or something? or do I need to buy a new PCM from the dealership?
Any help would be great, thanks.

Also which ECM is in it. The 02-04 LB7's are all the same with different OS's depending upon equipment, 01 is an odd ball but several say they have swapped in 02-04 ECM's and flashed them to work.
1995 GMC 2500 SUBURBAN powered by 01 DURAMAX/ALLISON, little of this, a little of that,
DIAMONDEYE 4" exhaust, CORSA muffler, AFE stage 1 dry filter, custom tuning by me, KENNEDY single pump and pump rub kit.
Don't flash an 01 with TechII, it will corrupt the ECM, with EFILive it should be safe, we have steps to ensure the corruption won't occur.

Thanks for your help guys, because of you I was able to get the truck going.
It is an 01 purchased in 02 (I misunderstood) but I haven't had any issues with that yet.
