Default Turbo Vane Target Position Question

If I make adjustments to my TVTP EGR on and off, those values will not make any difference unless I increase my TVTP maximum? If so should I just increase the max limits to their max(100)? I hope this question makes sense. Also any hints on what to do on cold start would be helpful.

you dont have to max them out. Just make sure they dont limit what you want to do.

Dont worry about cold start, when you start it it will use factory limits until it gets running warm.

O.K. I figured that I would need to at least have the numbers higher than the target positions just needed to get a yes out of somebody. Some of this stuff is so obvious that I question myself too much. Thanks

The max table is, for all intents and purposes, the closest thing to a wastegate your turbo has. If you increase those numbers, you increase potential shaft stress on the turbo. FWIW.
