    Default '96 PCM to '98 PCM? 5.7L

My father in law has a '96 K2500 350 5 speed... He was having computer problems with it so he took it to a local car guy. He claimed the computer is toast... Will a '98 PCM hook up to the factory wiring? Or do I just have to find another '96-'97 manual PCM?

    Thanks

Sorry it will not connect properly to the 1996 harness. The 98 PCM also has security built in which your truck does not. Look for a 96-97 PCM or upgrade to the 411.
