I would have thought if it was a missing script for the LS1B controller I would never be able to BBF. So I got nothing.. Help please.

Also are there plan to be able to dump files directly on to an SD card through a card reader without the need to use the V2 and EFI Explorer? I did try to see if it worked but the V2 wont see it.
    macca,

This is with your LS1B PCM...?

Are you using the tunetool from build 109 to save the .ctd...?

Similar problem for me, Im having issues re-saving a *.tun into *.ctd format. I get an error as well, Ill have to check what it is when I get home.

As for the SD card, I popped mine from my freshly formatted and updated V2 into my laptop and uploaded a few tunes and logs directly from Windows Explorer.

Now if i understand correctly, even though my v2 control panel shows that my v2 has the latest firmware and bootlog, it probably doesn't? Because i never updated them through the EE, i just always updated them through the control panel. The simple way..
If you went through EFILive HAPI Control Panel, then you should be fine!

Saving a modified tune as a *.ctd file using the V7.5.6 build 109 will result in the segment checksums not being updated in the *.ctd file.

The workaround is to save the file as a *.tun file first which will update the checksums, then without making any other modifications to the calibrations, use File->Save As to save it as a *.ctd file.

A fix (build 110) will be available asap.

That's why it worked on my LS1B, I saved already existing .tun files as .ctd.

I keep getting "ERROR: $0502 script file not found." Every time I try to flash a .ctd tune on my 06 Silverado LM7 5.3... I did all the stuff it said to do on the March 30 update thread.. Here's what files I got...

Thanks Paul. I don't recall modifying the tune prior to saving it as a .ctd file, but its possible I did. I'll give it another go in a few hours.

Send your Options.txt file to me at paul@efilive.com. You can save the Options.txt file by clicking on the [Save] button in the Black Box Setup window of the V8 Scan And Tune software.

Include a link to this thread in your email.

Ok I just tried it again and still no joy. Still getting the $0502 error. I even tried to Save As a new .tun file and then make a .ctd off that. And to recap. I have no problem performing a BBR and then BBF it back in.

A further update. I have installed the latest updates just then and tried again. Still no different. This time I even trimmed out all the controllers I don't use and updated my LS1B PIDS to what I use.

    Attached is my options.txt file

[edit] the new firmware is not letting me BBR now. Comes up with error $0525 *.ctd file not compatible with firmware.
