Tried flashing a '10 truck cal into a junk 455 ECM (broken retaining tab) and it took the calibration fine, EFILive couldn't retrieve the calibration though.
That's the problem, it will take the calibration fine, it's what happens on the next power cycle that is bad.

It was a useless E38 to me as it was and had to test a theory. GM listed both the 5455 and the 3238 for that truck for some reason, depending on software version.
