    Default Serial Wideband AFR & B3601

    O.K. guys and gals (?) need a sanity check.

    Been studying Mr. Prick's wideband vs B3601 spreadsheet.

    Does this apply to the use of a Wideband using a Serial Connection? Obviously, we only have the WO2AFR1 and WO2EQE1 Pids. Specifically on the Innovate LM-2 it uses 14.7 as the 'stoich' value of gasoline. In the LS1 B3601 stoich is 14.63.

    1. Do I have anything to 'worry' about. And how would you change it using a pre-defined WO2 Serial Pid?

    2. Would it just be simpler to change B3601 to read 14.7 (to match wideband stoich)?

    I am in the process of installing a fresh wideband o2 sensor..Want to get it right.

    Thanks..

    With Innovates stuff it is programmed via the LMProgrammer software,
    what ever that is the V2 will see/show.
    Converting serial Lambda to AFR

    I use ({GM.EQIVRATIO}/{EXT.WO2EQR1}) for BEN and ({B3601}/{EXT.WO2EQR1}) for actual AFR. (reference only)
    If {B3601} is 14.63 & your LM-1 fuel setting is 14.7 then yes there is a slight difference.

    I personally don't use {GM.AFR} anymore.
    See this thread for the difference between {GM.AFR} & {GM.EQUIVRATIO}
    Commanded AFR ≠ {B3601}

    I thought {B3601} was just to convert EQ into an AFR value,
    I was wrong on that.
    Changing {B3601} will have an effect on fueling even tho it won't change the commanded fuel & PE tables EQ values.

    I think a lot of people are setting {B3601} for E10 these days.
