    Default Throttle body bump stop

Hi all, sorry if this is irrelevant but I wanted to know if there is an adverse affect to this.

m sure you have all heard that LS1 throttle bodies dont open to 90 deg and that people trim the bump stops. Im curious to the side effects ???
In data logging the scan tool knows the throttle is 100% open, wouldn't the bump stop mod push it over the edge???

Do you see less that 100%?
I milled mine slightly and still see no ill effects but it probably wasn't necessary.

Be careful though... if WOT VDC goes over something like 4.75V, you will set a TPS code (high voltage) and the car will fall right out of PE at WOT (not good!).

yeah thats what I heard about the voltage thing, but my scan from a drive shows 100% throttle at WOT, so the PCM knows it at full so if i trim it a bit, it doent change this as it cant go above 100% but does physically allow the throttle to open a bit more at 90 deg rather than 85* as long as it doesnt go past 4.75 V

You might need to mill of a good bit to get exactly 90°
