i was over at my friends house trying to scan his pcm and log some data. it's a 98 LS1. i've updated to v3.0. it was saying that it couldn't find the cable :?. i also have the latest update but haven't uploaded it on my laptop.

When it can't find the cable it's normally the USB driver has not been installed correctly. Has it ever worked before on that laptop?

i checked to see if the driver was installed and it was. i've read stuff from my pcm so i know it works.
