    Default very new at this

    ok all i need help from the experts.... i got the EFI V2 scan and tune. ok so i loaded it in the computer and i updated it cause thats what the tuner i baught it from said to do. so i did that and now i cant do anything. i got to the EFI register and my computer says that the EFI is not communicating. so sense i am not so good with this EFI yet i am wondering what i am doing wrong and how do i get my truck tuned and whatnot with the licenses. any help would be great. like i said before i am very new at this. i have some common sense of a computer but not real indepth with them. thank you for your time

    Hi Mike, welcome to the forum...

    When did you get your V2...?

    Which software build versions did you update to...?

    Did you update both V7 and V8 software...?

    Did you update V2 firmware...?

    Can you start EFILive Explorer and goto the F12:Firmware tab, what does it say for bootblock and firmware versions...?

    Can you post some screenshots (howto).

    alrighty i used the 7.5.6 update but i didnt kow you had use the v8 also. where do i find the firmware update

    Update see here.

    You need V7.5.6.114 and V8.1.2.94 (which includes firmware 2.6.34).

    Install both V7 and V8, start EFILive Explorer (EE), goto F12: Firmware and flash in 2.6.34.
