Default small pulse adjust - 60Lb deka

    currently running 60lb Seimens deka,

have both min and default pulse width at about .8

and have a linear scale on the small pulse adjust from -0.14 to 0. 04 top to bottom.

it idles good but runs rich on deceleration (12:1)

the injector base pulse width has a minimum value of 0.595 as loged.

    any ideas

    these are just a guess

my VE cant seem to correct the light throttle tuning enough.

    still running too rich

What is your IBPW1 & IBPW2 during decel conditions? There is a cax file I made that is used to lower another minimum pulsewidth limit that may be active. Can you post a tune & log file with IBPW & your wideband AFR etc?

looking at the data page in the scan, it went down to 0.6 somehere?????

at idle it sits around 1.8 i think,

i should have the right PID's to see this info

The minimum transient pulsewidth table {B9021} is what is causing your issue. With the setting in your tune 1.398216ms + Injector voltage offset 0.5+ ms will give you an absolute minimum pulsewidth of over 1.8ms. The 0.6ms IBPW is an anomoly.(More than likely DFCO being active)
I have attached a .cax file that you need to unzip into your C:/program files/efilive/V7.5/calibrations folder.
Then search for B9021 which is in the fuel/injectors parameters & set this to a lower value than B4003.
You may need to raise the lower map values again to ensure you havent lowered the VE table too much in these regions due to this limit being hit during AutoVE.

    had some good results,

although its made the VE table a liitle odd in the lower MAP around 3K

    its OK though

how can we reference what area in the small pulse to adjust this out.

    heres the tune and log

You are not filtering out the transient conditions, hence the weird VE table at low map. When doing AutoVE I find it better to completely remove the foot from the loud pedal during decel. This lets a simple TP less than 1% filter keep the transient fuelling out.
To reference the small pulse table check out my thread here http://forum.efilive.com/showthread....highlight=IBPW

Are these transient tables the same that are added in the CAX section sticky that were merged with the Lean Cruise Enable?

Also, I'm not sure, but the transient minimum that you mentioned, Is that Transient>minimum fuel milligrams in HPT? If so, are the the Min RPM and MAX TPS% that define transient fueling enable/disable ? Or am I way off and you are talking Injector Minimum Pulse equivalent?

It appears that what I made as B9021 is the same address as HPT for the Transient/minimum fuel milligrams. I have tested my scaling & units & have found them to be accurate.(on a couple of platforms) Whether HPT use another calculation from IFR to define this table IDK.
I havent tested the steady state parameters & there influence on this table at this stage. But it does appear to be an absolute minimum PW with no referral to the default PW table. Hence the need to set it lower than B4003 if you want the default PW table active.
Joe was going to add the tables to the .cax sticky but I am not sure if he has yet.
