No, for CAN stuff it should work but other than that the communication protocols are only setup for GM VPW comms.
Scanning, logging, reading, clearing codes doesnt use a license. Only flashing a modified tune back for the first time on that FlashScan uses a license.

what about non efilive supported gm vehicles like the chevy tracker? My neighbor has a CEL she want me to find out why.
